Postbiotic CCFM1219 significantly increases the proportion of small adipocytes (diameter ≤50 μm) and decreases the proportion of large adipocytes (diameter ≥70 μm) in epididymal white adipose tissue. It effectively reduces the number and volume of lipid droplets in brown adipose tissue, alleviates fat accumulation, and preserves the normal morphology and function of brown adipose tissue.
It mitigates body‑weight gain in mice fed a high‑fat diet. The average weight gain of the model group was 21.1 g. By comparison, the CCFM1219_2 group had only 12.26 g weight gain, representing a 40.3% reduction; the CCFM1219_1 group gained 18.2 g, a 13.7% reduction. The other intervention groups recorded a minimum weight gain of 19.14 g.
